"Welcome to the website of Mike Speight Photos in which I have included an assortment of photographs taken over the past few years. Whilst you are visiting my site, please take the time to visit some of the other websites from the links page. Most of the sites you will find are for keen amateur photographers, like myself. Also, I hope you will be inspired to visit some of the places I have photographed - The Great Central Railway, The Crich Tramway Museum and best of all, the beautiful county of Cornwall and The Scilly Isles."
Roy Wightman Digital Photography - My interest in picture taking is very wide, I like all types of photography from landscapes to textures. Check out my galleries for a selection of my photos. I also enjoy making audio visual slide shows and have included some which you are free to download.
RS Digital Images - This site is an image based site displaying a range of photographs taken over many years.  My name is Roger Senior. I have been interested in photography for over 40 years.. My interest started probably as a result of seeing my father's photography. I used to watch him develop and print black and white photographs and always remember my fascination at watching the image appear in the developing tray as if by magic ! How things have changed now that the digital era has arrived. I studied photography at "O" and "A" level and joined the local camera club "Sheffield Photographic Society" for a few years. However, some 10 years ago I decided to move to Scotland to change career. Scotland had always been a great attraction for me as someone keen on travel, the great outdoors and hillwalking.

Fotos For Phun - Photography by Scott Denny.   I recently saw Scott's work on Redbubble, and quickly became a "fan" of his wildlife and Native American images. Someday I hope Scott and I can meet in person and do some serious "shooting" together. Need some good, understandable information about the basics of photography?  Here's a great little blog by Scott Denny that's definitely worth checking out. Personally I've visited many blogs, not that I need the information, but more to see if the information is written in a way that anyone could understand. Scott has managed to offer information on aperture, ISO, shutter speed, and how they relate. He covers composition, natural lighting, the rule of thirds, and other aspects of photography in a way almost anyone can understand. Perfect for any beginner who shoots on "program" but would like more control over their images, this blog is a "must see". Scott's images are available for purchase and can be found here.

A small, friendly forum hosted by David. New to Photoshop? Not a problem. This is a great forum for learning Photoshop. David offers video tutorials that are simple to understand. The members are a great bunch of people, good photographers, and good teachers to the Photoshop "newbies" such as myself.
"We don't make a photograph just with a camera; we bring to the act of photography all the books we have read, the movies we have seen, the music we have heard, the people we have loved"
...Ansel Adams

I am from a small town in Southern USA near our capital of Raleigh, North Carolina where I work part time for a Psychiatrist. The rest of my time is spent with my camera which I take everywhere, in front of the computer, and running a large family.

My entry into the "world of photography" came through my interest in art and my discovery of Photoshop and Painter software. I started my teaching in Photoshop by ordering a CD from Davrodigital.co.uk. I have been using David Rowley's excellent DVD's and downloads for 6 years now and still find them informative and entertaining. I soon discovered that the better the photograph, the better the finished product looked, so I set out to learn photography. I found Better Photo through a search engine and have totally enjoyed being a part of the site and taking some of the many exciting courses offered. I have a new respect for photographers and have met some interesting and exciting people. I look forward to getting home after each photo session to see what I have captured. It's like opening a present each time.
